A truly memorable and surreal experience this year at Develop Brighton Conference meeting a huge fan of my work Ā ā¤ļøā€šŸ”„

Iā€™m a ā€˜96 Eastern European kid - and growing up in the late 90s/early 2000s (an era Iā€™ve got lots of sentimental attachment to) my influences are quite obvious and are from games like Diablo/Warcraft/Harry Potter/Assassinā€™s Creed/Witcher/Heroes of Might & Magic/Need for Speed/Gothic/Deus Ex/Legacy of Kain/Prince of Persia/Myst - and the list keeps going..

That era of soundtracks is partially what I want bring back in my own compositions, and itā€™s always inspiring to know that there are people out there who resonate with that ā¤ļøā€šŸ”„

Very much humbled and am most definitely inspired to keep bringing more cool tunes to the industry šŸŽ¶šŸŽ¶

I recently reached over a 1000 monthly listeners on Spotify and 4000+ subscribers on YouTube.. šŸ¤Æ

Just to put things into perspective and how much this truly means to me...

1 - I had 10 monthly listeners on Spotify basically between 2017-2022

2 - I've never invested in promotion (though should probably start!)

3 - I come from a village in Eastern Europe with population of roughly 5000 people where no one ever heard of the term "soundtrack music" xD

4 - Started to post YouTube videos in 2015, sharing game ost remakes and remixes, as well as my own work, trying different formats throughout the years.

Slowly but surely, it's this organic / word of mouth process of gaining listeners and is a result of tremendous amount of work and effort I put into trying to get projects over the years, despite any complications (either personal or political) and through persistency on this path šŸ’Ŗ

Ā

Itā€™s definitely encouraging, and I am happy to continue releasing more exciting stuff, as it's truly all just the beginning ā¤ļøā€šŸ”„

Since 2013, when I first got into composing, I have been accumulating an insane amount of project ideas.. less than half actually out there.. Stay tuned! šŸ”„šŸ”„āœŒļøāœŒļø

What an incredible and unforgettable experience at WASD.. For the first time I got to understand what it's like to be on the other side of the game expo by helping with managing the booth with BAD Spiele Studio.. learned so much from studio's CEO Ankit Dhillon and am very grateful for all the knowledge he shared with me, a mentor to learn from! šŸ™Ā Super excited to contribute to Last Spartan - the game is going be absolute fire upon release šŸ”„šŸ”„šŸ”„Ā This wouldn't have been possible if I didn't visit Gamescom last year..

On top of gaining more understanding about the industry, I also got to see some really amazing game projects currently in development and have the honour to meet the very talented and inspiring teams behind them.. I absolutely love that everyone is so cool, approachable, open-minded and interesting šŸ«¶Ā Feeling a warm welcome to the UK, and even though I know that I'm in an extremely competitive and tough area to break into.. somehow I feel confident that this dream of mine might have a shot at coming true here šŸ’Ŗ
