I absolutely loved working with Sam. The moment I saw the trailer of 'Daybringer' - I fell in love with the idea of this dark dystopian world built around the blend of Hip Hop and Fantasy themes. Hack-n-Slash games are an extremely cool genre, having a lot of background in producing dark video game soundtrack - I was hyped to compose music for this project. I love Hip Hop and Phonk genres, having a separate personal project "Axaw II" dedicated to those types of music. There was a lot of research done from my end on Phonk, originating from Memphis, Tennessee. Composing a full scale soundtrack in that style is most definitely on my bucket list.

For 'Daybringer' I worked on 3 tracks, 'Exasperate' and 'Dismal' being explorational themes, while 'Asperate' leaned more into the Phonk direction. “Daybringer” is an Urban Fantasy Epic which follows the journey of a boy in a hip-hop purgatory. Witness visual and melodic storytelling as you hack and slash through waves of fantastical creatures within a unique game-play experience.
